Ball Helpers

Facilitated by Mr. Price, students work together to help take care of our outdoor equipment.

Cafe 103

Facilitated by Mrs. Ruben & Mrs. Comes, students work on life skills to organize drink orders for staff and deliver orders on Fridays. 

Choir

The Maryland Choir is for students in grades 3-5. Students may attend practice during recess times or after school. The choir performs multiple times throughout the school year.

Kindness Core

Facilitated by 3rd-grade teachers, all 3rd graders participate in learning about others in our community and ways to spread kindness. Students in 4th and 5th grades also participate in a yearly activity. 

Mindfulness Recess

Students may sign up to participate in Mindfulness Recess. Each grade level has a set 20-minute time during the week. Mindfulness Recess is also supported by 5th-grade student leaders.

Polar Bear Club

Weather permitting, students in K-5 have an opportunity to sign up to head outside on snowy weather days when an indoor recess is called. Polar Bear Club days are communicated the night before so everyone brings what is required to go outside.

Safety Patrol

Fifth-grade students help with the safety of our walking students during arrival and dismissal times. Those interested are able to sign up during the Spring of their 4th-grade year.

Student Council

Student Council officer positions are open to all K-5 students. Classroom representatives are voted on for the first half and second half of the school year to represent their general education classroom.
